That sounds great, Fred. Over here in France, you can buy flakey pie crust already rolled out (it's generally used here for making quiche, so it's not sweet) and that's what I use for pizza, but it's just a little too "fluffy"....I'll try some of your variations, though, which sound yummy.
the other day, I had some leftover pesto (recipe above) and left-over broccoli and a bunch of left-over cheeses and some left-over pot roast.....and I made some really bitchin' lasagna out of all of that; You can put anything in lasagna and as long as there's enough tomato sauce and cheese, it always works out!
